One of the ongoing battles in the last days of the lame-duck congressional session in Washington is the push to pass the DREAM act, a bill that would allow children of illegal immigrants the opportunity to earn legal residency status if they complete two years in the military or two years at a four-year college.
To show support for the bill, the Stamford Hispanic community group CRISOL has organized a vigil at the Stamford Government Center Friday night.
